ABOUT US

WYFL is a registered 501(C) non-profit organization whose mission is to:

- Bring our youth closer together through common interest in sportsmanship and competition;

- Instill the values of honesty, loyalty and courage;

- Respect for authority, peers and self;

- Teach sportsmanship, discipline and love of the game;

- Encourage the players to maintain satisfactory grades in school and to emphasize the importance of keeping a proper relationship and balance between scholastic and athletic endeavors; and

- Encourage volunteerism to support the growth and diversity of the community.

As a Division II member of the Chicagoland Chapter of American Youth Football (the national organization), our mission has been to accept all kids, no matter their skill level or economic background. In years past, our organization has accepted 180 kids in the program, coming from over ten surrounding villages - Westchester, Brookfield, La Grange, LaGrange Park, North Riverside, Berwyn, Lyons, Bellwood, Hillside,… Thus, our expansive reach is a reflection of our program's ideals and what we have been able to teach the kids.

The WYFL looks forward to building a strong partnership with our communities and businesses that will enable us to fulfill the hopes and dreams of our youth.

We welcome any comments or questions regarding the Raider Nation and look forward to forming a mutually beneficial partnership.

Thank you in advance for your consideration and support of Westchester Youth Football League, Inc.
